La Tricoterie is located at No.158 Rue Théodore Verhaegen in Saint-Gilles, close to Brussels-Midi Station (Gare du Midi) and Porte de Hal.

Yes, we have our own-house catering service. Our catering approach is eco-friendly : no disposable tableware, reduced waste and food loss, and raw ingredients sourced primarily from organic farming and fair trade. We work with over 30 local producers.
You can find our menu here : all our offerings remain customizable to suit your preferences.
Unfortunately, La Tricoterie does not allow outside caterings, as it has its own in-house catering service. Our team of professional chefs will be delighted to offer you a variety of delicious menus for any type of event !
If you have specific requests, we are more than happy to create a customized menu for you.
In certain specific cases (such as weddings or birthday cakes), we can recommend external pastry chefs with whom we frequently collaborate. You may also bring your own dessert ; in this case, a dishware fee applies based on the number of guests.
Unfortunately, La Tricoterie does not allow outside bar services : our bar is run by our in-house team and is stocked with local and ethical beverages.
We can offer you different options : a cash bar, a token system or an open bar.
In exceptional cases, we may allow you to bring your own drinks (for example ; if it is a beverage you produce yourselves or one that we cannot supply). In this case, a corkage fee applies depending on the number of bottles you bring.
Yes, you can hire external service providers, with the exception of catering. Host fees may apply if the provider arrives outside of your reserved booking hours.
We can recommend a wide directory of service providers we regularly work with : live bands, DJs, pastry chefs, workshop facilitators, photographers, live portrait artists...
We do not have large storage facilities. Exceptionally, we can store your equipment or decorations, provided it does not interfere with the smooth running of other events held at La Tricoterie.
Yes, we can receive deliveries leading up to your event. This service may incur additional staffing fees.
We provide self-service coat racks for your use. We can also offer a attended cloakroom service (paid).
Our building is equipped with security cameras, and the front door remains locked outside of welcoming and closing hours. However, as multiple events may take place at the same time, we cannot guarantee systematic entry control.
Our team can store your valuable equipment in locked rooms.
Security staff is required for events taking place after 9:00 PM. This service is also available during the day upon request.
La Tricoterie is located in a residential area. As a result, the sound level in most of our rooms is limited to 85 dB : this volume is sufficient for a dance party (without heavy bass).
However, the sound level can reach up to 95 dB (with heavy bass) in the Salon. This room is therefore ideal for parties and DJ sets.
All of our rooms include a standard AV package that features a screen, a projector, a basic sound and lighting system, and 3 microphones.
If you have additional technical requirements, we can rent the necessary equipment through our trusted partners.
Please note, however, that the use of audiovisual equipment requires the presence of one of our technicians.
Yes, we can offer you a live streaming service tailored to your needs. Our technical team will be delighted to advise you.
During the coordination phase, you will agree with your coordinator on a precise timeline for your event, as well as the necessary setup time.
On the day of the event, our team will handle the entire setup of your rooms (furniture, optional decoration, and installation of audiovisual equipment). Our team also takes care of dismantling and clearing everything away once the event is over.
La Tricoterie is a "Factory of connections". It champions social, ecological and ethical values. These values run through every aspect of the project : sustainable catering service, ecological renovation, involvement in the local economy and the creation of a cultural season focused on social cohesion... For those reasons, we reserve the right to decline an event if it does not align with our values.
Unfortunately, La Tricoterie does not have its own parking lot.

Unfortunately, we do not have enough space to accommodate bicycles inside La Tricoterie, as we must ensure our emergency exits remain clear at all times.
Two bike racks are located directly opposite La Tricoterie. A bicycle parking area as well as VILLO, is located on Place Bethléem (1-minute walk).
